Was at the game this weekend,......Urban and JoePa were mighty friendly,.....i had him pegged for the Ohio State job,...but the more i see those two together it really gets me thinking,....we just might get Urban as our coach at the end of this year.

Urb's a good Coach, but make no mistake... FL is a dirty program and he left before the fire got out of control.  If it werent for Tebow's angelic presence the NCAA would have been all over them.  If Urb goes to Penn ST I'd give the University two years or less before they have an NCAA inquiry.

what a joke.  you trying to tell me that tebow influenced the ncaa not to look at florida???  believe me, i dislike uf as much as anyone, but your comments above are asanine.  now that both urban and tebow are gone, why has the ncaa not come in to do some snooping at uf?  why haven't they looked at utah?  and to say that the ncaa would inquire if penn st brought urban on, is laughable.  where are you coming up with this nonsense?

FL's player arrest record and self reported violations speak for themselves.  Several estimates suggested the NCAA took in on the order $10-16M based on the merchandising of Tebow's likeness.  If you were the NCAA how would you handle FL given the incoming cash flow?  You say coincidence that as Saint Timmy moves on so does Urb?  Explain why heir apparent Coach Mullen declined the position?  I work in the heart of Gator country with a number of Gator boosters and alum.  The truth is out there for those who choose to see it..

you said the ONLY reason uf wasn't targeted by the ncaa, was because of tebow.  wow, we all know saint timmy walks on water, but didn't realize he controlled the ncaa too.

i'd just like to know where you're getting your information from.  do you have any proof to support these statements, or is this just your opinion?  if you have evidence to support it, then i apologize and i will say you are correct.  if not, i stand by my previous post, where i said "what a joke".

last time i checked, lsu just got dinged with some ncaa violations and a couple key players were suspended.  if you are going to call one school out for being a bunch of cheats and criminals, it would be wise to remember the problems facing your own university.

When you find some time between cyberbickering sessions, you should read a bit more about the NCAA's praise of LSU's compliance department.  You may be surprised to learn that there were NO scholly losses, NO tv blackouts, NO fines, and NO BCS/Bowl implications imposed by the NCAA.  The LSU team isn't full of angels, but choirboys generally dont win national titles either.

you didn't answer my question about uf, do you have evidence supporting your claims, or is this just osage roost banter?

and i'm really not interested in reading up on lsu and the ncaa, as i have hardly enough time to read the countless stories of our football players getting in trouble on their scooters, be it for driving without a license, or crashing them.  no 250 lb man should be riding a scooter anyway.
