If you were to talk to any Christian and ask about salvation most would be quick to offer you their opinion, and most of them would likely be the same. Although the Bible is very clear that the only way to Salvation is through Jesus Christ, it does not spell how one gets there or lay out a definitive plan for it. There are thousands of tracts and verses that one can use to condense it, but it is not a cookie cutter approach with God. It's an awesome thought that the creator of this Universe is willing to reason with you and I, as individuals! I certainly don't think God plays let's make a deal, but he does understand our hearts and the unique personalities that each of us posesses. We all struggle with different things in life, and some struggle more than others. It makes the thought that much more amazing that we have a Saviour willing to deal with us on a personal level. Salvation is a deeply personal event. What's wrong for you may not be wrong for me, and vice versa. Coming into the knowledge of the truth is what living a Christian life is all about. You certainly don't try to clean a fish before you catch it. God works in much the same way. Take time and seek out what God wants for you, not what others think he wants for you. It will lead a closer personal relationship with him, and the joy that his word promises us.
