I was thinking that if you are trading a call, I wouldn't think anyone would trade a very good call would they? So what kind of quality could one expect? To me most would be ones that don't sound very good.

Jim i guess that depends on the person...they have a similar setup on another site but it is pretty much callmaker to callmaker....so most cases you get what they specialize in....in this case i have seen several callmakers sign up and fer those who are not i really do not know what to expect....i would think they would trade a good cal they may not use often not just a call that they think is junk just to try and get somethin better....but anywho i think its worth a shot at least once... *cheers*

Well I see that most of you are call makers and since I am not I don't think that I will be in this call swap.. most of your calls would be better than the ones that I would trade...I wouldn't feel right trading calls that I don't feel are up to par with  some of the ones that I might receive. Longbeard please don't include me in this swap.. It does sound like fun though...   Jim

That's OK, Jim,
This SWAP may not become a regular thing here at O.R., I know that it won't if we each go into it hoping to "trade up," so to speak. Maybe we should have put a minimum monetary value on the calls, such as $50.  After this first swap, there may be lots of ideas that come about.  Box calls one month, Pots one month, trumpets one month, scratch boxes one month, etc.  I know, for instance that it wouldn't be enough for me to swap just one of my (personal) scratch boxes this month.  I have decided that I will swap off either two scratch boxes or one of my scratch boxes and a one-sider paddle box from another maker.  Haven't made up my mind yet. Maybe if we can get through this first one, we can look back and plan better for the next one.
