A Study of Friction with Roger Parks
« on: July 23, 2011, 05:28:07 PM »
Received a few New calls today in the Mail, a Slate / Glass caller, and a Glass / Glass caller from Roger to round out my collection of Friction from Mr. Roger Park's.

Thank You Roger, for these fine friction calls.

Mr. Parks is a long time student of the Friction call.

He spent much time with D.D. Adams, and he has a Long time Passion for the Wild Turkee Bird and the Vocalizations made by them, to the point it is in his very soul.

When it comes to friction, you would be wise to add these to your Vest.

Thanks again Roger, for the feeling of confidense your calls give me, when I enter the field.

I talked with Roger for 4 hours last night and all I can say is that call was long over due. This man knows friction calls and how to get all the turkey sounds out of them. I also loved hearing all that he knows about DD Adams. I only wish someone would talk to him and write it all down for a magazine or book as I would hate to see all this info go by the wayside and be lost. Bill

Bill I asked about the keekee call and he told me that he will not make any more of them. Roger told me that he kept one for himself and the rest he sent to Woodhaven.

I had noticed that they were building them now and wondered why. Well, I guess those I have, that Roger, made are collector pieces now!
