4 x 4 vehicles??

Just read that the Gov't offers a $5000 rebate on 4x4 electric vehicles, i.e., Bad Boy Buggies, anyone know anything about this?

I've got 2 BBBs ('06 & '08) that I'm lookin' to get rid of, to upgrade both of 'em to one of the newer independent suspensions versions ...
The 4x4 electric carts were runnin' about 8K to 10K a few years back when I got mine - but I honestly never thought they were worth anywhere near that kind of money ... ::)
... they were still really nothin' more than a glorified golf cart - but they were the only thing out there, if you wanted non-combustable powered vehicle (I always said they couldn't have picked a worse format for a 4x4 vehicle than a golf cart) ... :-\
The newer versions of the 4x4 carts are now runnin' between 12K on up to 15K - even though they now have independent suspensions, along with some other minor improvements, a 5K rebate would sure help take some of the sting out of upgrading ...

Where did you read that Ticeman - if you don't mind ??

I read it in my local newspaper this morning, it was mentioned by a local outdoorsman who has a column.
