Ok fellas this is going nowhere . Obviously there are some issues between some of you . I would just like to say that the Osage Roost is not the place for this kind of bickering . No offense meant to anyone , but this is a site for talkin" turkey , not for arguing . This is the kiss of death for a forum ! The subjects that you are talking about do not belong in public view . It is not proper to drag anyone through the mud on here . It is also not proper to throw people's names into a post just to incite problems . If you guys have issues with each other , please man-up and talk it out in person , not on here . It's terrible to see anger and hard feelings come into this wonderful site . Nobody's personal business should be posted either . Please DO NOT use this excellent site be your battle grounds !!!!

Made one of these boxes and sold it on ebay in early 2007 and then received an e-mail from ole SouthernSpur wanting to order one like It.
This is the set I made for him in late 07.The bone caller was made to match and was a gift to him from me for the shortbox order.Thought I'd share this'un!

Why don't you just post pics of your calls and not add the stupid, extra , unnecessary added commentary?  Who gives a chit that Southern Spur emailed you about ordering one?
Seems to me and others that your posts always have a backhanded motive to them.
I can't believe we lost Al and Josh because of what you did and we got stuck with you!!

Bob first off thanks for the great post.  I've been at work busting my rear off and luckily a fellow member contacted me.  I did the best thing I knew, put the site in time out.

Unfortunately, it seems like several people are trying to draw me out and get me to post.. so I'll set one thing straight.  

Neither Smokey, Dylan, Shad nor I hit the delete button on his account.  I'm not going into a he said she said ordeal, but there is no short end of the stick etc...  

I did promise after the last copy cat ordeal on this site, I would not be a part of it.  Rules will be changed that will say keep it private.  Last time I took a side, it didn't end out really nice.  Lost a few friends over it and I will never go through that again.  I believe strongly in protecting your rights, but I (unfortunately) cannot be the judge juror or attorney.

Spur as for me not contacting you, yes that is true.. but I also gave a warning (to more than one person) the minute I got on that day.  I'm assuming you did not like it and to be honest, I still do not know what was in that thread.  I've been that BUSY.  I'm not making excuses as I'm fortunate to have a job, but I got yesterday off and just put in 14 hours.  I talked to people Friday night that I do not even remember.  I am that sleep deprived right now!

I still do not know why you keep bringing Dylan, Shad, and Daryl into this.  I am the one who moved the thread and I have it where I can see it.  I meant to clean it up and probably will.  That is the only thing I will comment on in public from you and I do/will reply to the rest of your concerns.

I'm also implementing a new part of the site.  I hope to have it functional tomorrow and it's helped other sites, so hopefully it will here too!  If you want to go out it with another member, so be it... I'll put you in a sandbox where you two can go at it.

For all you other members, I'm sorry I did what I did today.  I was unable to be at a computer much today and I just knew it was not going to go very well.

If you do not like how things have gone, by all means... put it on MY SHOULDERS and let me know.  I'm slow at getting back, yes, but I am/will respond to all my pms and posts.

I like the Roost, and its the only turkey hunting/call making website I visit any more.  No CCO, No Sunny this or Dark that, No NWTF, No Ol' Goober, No nothing...

But as I see it this equation has a common denominator, and I simply dont understand why its chosen to ignore it...  

There's an old saying I learned when I took my first management position that has stuck with me..

"What you permit, you promote..."

Anybody who knows me knows that I'm not afraid to trade jabs with anyone.  They also know that I generally won't speak up without provocation.

The most effective cure for cancer is removing the tumor, just saying...

It seems like some people have issues with others on here. Going thru life, there are people and things you aren't always gonna like, but you don't piss and whine all the time about it! if there are people or things on here that you don't care for, just don't talk or deal with them, be a bigger man and walk away! There are people on here that say things about calls, when alot of the calls look alot alike! Everyone is building the same kind of calls. Ain't NOBODY on here any better than anyone else! NOBODY! When people talk the truth, people don't want to hear it! Makes no sense.
