Special Edition Parquets

Here's a Special Edition set of 10 parquet style short boxes I just finished up for a local NWTF Hunting Heritage Banquet.
These are made with all locally harvested Florida woods.
The boxes are "Sinker Cypress" (salvaged from local rivers), with Red Maple spacers and end blocks. The base and lid are Eastern Red Cedar.
The inlays are Heart Magnolia.
"Bulldog Mikey" loved the old Sinker Cypress, I wish he could have seen this set.

Those are some real classy looking boxes there. I really like the maple spacers and end blocks with the cypress.

Tim you are right.. Mike was a big Sinker Cypress fan....  I'm sure he's looking at them right now too!!!
