From a post at Al's site..... I talked to Adam Sunday afternoon, and he told me that Mike made a serious turnabout, and has improved to the point that they are going to go ahead on the trach tube. Once that happens, they can pull the tubes out of his throat, and begin the process of waking him up. If anyone ever had doubts about the O'l bulldog's toughness, I think that just answered the question!!!  Keep praying for him and the family!!!!!

Adam just shouted at me(Tuesday 4:38pm)---seems Mike has relapsed again. Apperentlly there is a new hole developed in his lung. Therefore, there is no way the Trach can be done. Mike has begun swelling to the point Adam says he is almost un recgonizable. They are waiting on Hospice to come talk to them right now. This is soo sad....not the news any of us wanted to hear. In his cirrent condition---there is nothing medically that can be done for Mike. This is truely in Gods hands.

Prayers sent once more to the entire family and all of those who are close to Mike.  The days ahead will truly test ones strength both mentally and physically.
