today is a big day for Mikes recovery from this episode.

Adam sent this text to me last night:
"No real change from yesterday.He had a good day..stats are real good. Swelling went down.Surgery sometime in the afternoon.Tomorrow is D -Day.It may get worse before it gets better. Really our only shot.The next week will be critical."

Adam just texted Porter(friday morning)----I quote this from Porter ....

"No surgery today...CT scan later this morning---surgery next week trying ti get his lung pressure down. He is still on a ventalator and is sedated....thanks you for your prayers and let his Osage family know please"

The doctors did a procedure yesterday to remove some of the infection that is in the lung. They are trying to get him to to breathe more on his own before they go in and remove to blister that is in his lung. The surgery should be Monday or Tuesday. At this point he is doing as good as can be expected.
