Spoke the Adam at 10 pm tonight. Mike has had a very tedious last 24 hours where the outlook didn't look very good at all. In the ole fighting Bulldog way, he has showed em what a fighter he actually is. He began stabilizing this afternoon to the point that the doctors were able to finally do the procedure they have wanted to do but were unable to do his very unstable condition.they went in with a endoscope and repaired a hole that allowed them to re inflate his collapsed lung. His vitals began to stabilize quickly to the point that they were able to transport him finally to Emory in Atlanta. He will get the best chance for recovery there.
He sees a thorasic surgeon in the morning to determine how much damage to his lungs this episode has damaged his delicate lungs. He is in no way out of the woods but he is in the right place to receive the best care and chances. Adam will probably find out in the morning or afternoon what loss to his lung he has suffered. Mike was only surviving on 24-25 percent of his lung capacity, he cannot stand any serious additional loss of lung function from this incident.there is a additional hole in the upper portion on the same lung that the doctors dare no surgical attempt to repair. They plan to place a tube in from his back to drain the lung and plan on trying to treat the hole medically at this point.
Let's all continue to keep Mike and his family in our prayers during their tryin time right now
