A couple of weeks ago I posted on here for the first time in awhile, and mentioned that I had finaly gotten a call made for Clint that I had been promising him for almost 2 years that i'd make him for a trade on some calls that he had sent me. Well before I had a chance to send the call to him he passed away. With the Lord in control, there are no mistakes, everything happens for a reason. The thing is, even tho Clint never got to see his call, it belongs to him and I don't feel right about keeping it. I had Morgan talk to his mother about what to do with the call, if she wanted it she could have it, or we could auction the call off and give the proceeds to a charity of her choice in Clints name. She didn't want the call so she suggested that we auction it and give the proceeds to the Animal Rescue League. Now, having said all of that, I'm gonna put this call up for auction and donate the money in Clints memory. So please feel free to bid on this call and i'll keep up with the bids and i'll anounce the winner at the end of the month. The call is a buckeye burl all wood deer grunter with aluminum band and mosaic pins. Clint had mentioned one time about wanting an all wood grunter out of african black wood, but I figured since I had taken so long to get the call made i'd do him one better and use some buckeye that I had been hanging on to for a special call. This is one of the prettiest calls i've ever made and was proud to make it for Clint, I just wished he'd got to see it, but like I said, everything happens for a reason.
