Our Kansas trip
« on: May 28, 2011, 10:54:48 AM »
Hi guys, as most of you know, Porter and I went to Kansas to hunt. Here are some pics from the trip. We had a great time.

Here is the turkey I killed.

Here is a little hail we had to put up with.

My cook on the trip.

Hey now don't make fun of ASAT camo... I'm always different.   ROTFLMBO ROTFLMBO

I think Daryl goes to Kansas more for the cooking than the hunting :)

I'm already looking forward to next year!!!  I just hope Daryl doesn't shoot his bird in the rear next year  *lol* *lol*

What's all that white stuff on the ground? Looks like marbles......

Kansas can be challenging weather wise but great state for turkeys. Looks like you guys had a great time. I kinda agree with Daryl. You got to get some pellets in a gobbler before he will die. Sometimes you have to slow them down before you can make a killing shot. *lol* *lol*

Did the hail kill that gobbler?  Looks like a real rustic turkey camp and a lot of fun!

That's cool. Great looking gobbler. Looks like you had a great place to stay. Thanks for sharing, Mike
