From one end of the state to another
« on: May 28, 2011, 07:37:56 AM »
On the west side of our state we have the destruction of an EF5 tornado an on the Southern part of our state... flooding...  I was able to go down to the Branson area yesterday and let me tell you... this is a mess down there.  WAter everywhere.  I believe the tornado has taken the focus off of that area, but it saddened me to see so much water and a Memorial Day weekend that many will not spend at the campgrounds this year.

I have several photos that I will post later, but this is just crazy!  Richard, unfortunately, we will be sending a bunch more water toward your family  :-[

Here is the Powersite dam.  On the right is Lake Taneycome and on the Left is Bull Shoals.  You cannot see the dam in this photo as it is over it....

Bruce that is the highest I have seen it and it has went down about 10 feet.  Some houses are not under water that were...  It just keeps raining down there :(
