Never played a scratch box before I dont even own one... that said I wouldnt mind getting a good scratch box...for all you guys that have one, could you PM me as to some call makers that make a good scratch box, also one more question ... been looking on you tube about playing scratch boxes and it seems like the woods really make a difference.. well at least on you tube.... let me know   Thanks  Jim

...not one to blow my own horn, or anything, but Mississippi Scratch Boxes are pretty darn good.

I've purchased a few this year, I really like scratch boxes -- something a little different that can pull a gobble when other calls can't.  A good place to start -- Check in with Bob at Shadetree Callers.  He makes a really nice sounding, and a very attractive, scratch box in my opinion.

Try SS. Custom Calls Al and Josh make a fine scratch box.
