I posted some pics this morning. I had a good hunt. Only thing that could have made it better if the guy I was hunting with had killed the gobbler I called in for him after I had killed my two. He has never killed a turkey and he told me he had a lump in his throat when the bird was gobbling and strutting and coming staright to him. He told me he already was seeing the bird at the taxidermist's.
The bird was at about 30 yds walking fast right at us and the gun goes off. I was a little surprised but expected to see the bird flopping. Heck, next thing I know it is putting and flying. Bad thing it was my gun he was using. But I am 8 for 8 with it this spring so I do not think it is the gun.
