Praise to share!
« on: May 09, 2011, 11:13:02 AM »
Just got out of a huge meeting and learned that my job is safe!!! I've been pretty stressed about this for about 6 months now and finally learned our fate. A huge weight has been lifted.

At this same time I will be saying a prayer for those in my company that were not as fortunate. I don't know an exact number of the impact but I know there are tears being shed and people that do not know what's next in life. I honestly am hurting for them.

Ed,
Most of the affected people in IL are in the Chicago area. Some are in southern IL, Michigan ( i know, like they couldn't use a boost...), and parts of Indiana. The good news is the company is helping with new jobs in other areas but it will mean relocation for those people.
