He was looking for dry land to hunt on the last time I talked to him. He said the places he has hunted for years were under water.

dcole came and stayed with me last week and we spent the majority of the time hunting Mark Twain National Forest lands.  No Internet and barely in cell phone access.

Rolled in Saturday and hunted a local place yesterday.  Most of our farms are now dry, but then came another torrential downpour  *cry*

We should be dry the next few days and then more rain.  I'm hoping the MDC updates the turkey harvest for MO.  The best day of the season was yesterday, the last!  I cannot imagine our numbers are even close to what they normally are!
