Opening Morning in Missouri
« on: April 27, 2011, 08:39:07 AM »
Here are a couple of pics of birds me and my group took opening morning in Missouri last week. Bruce (Augiedog55) was with me when I killed my bird. We had agreed on who shot would depend on which direction the bird came in from. Well, at flydown we called in 6 jakes that came in on Bruce's side. After that we called in the bird in I killed on my side. The other two guys are a friend and his son who went with me on this hunt last year. It was a tough hunt. I normally hear 20 or more birds on the farm we were hunting opening morning in Missouri and this year I heard three.

Way to go Rickey.  I can tell you... these MO birds are not acting right this year.  Very tight lipped in the Southwest MO area.  Finally today in North Central, they were hammering!
