Proud Moment!!!!

Well today I am as about as happy and excited as I have been in a long time, Grace and I went out to the woods for her first turkey hunt ever!!!  The temp was 50...windy and drizzling rain...Not ideal condition for a first hunt but I have to go when I can with my schedule...We set up in a spot in the ground blind for 2 hrs or so...Nothing!!!  Well we packed up and went to another spot close by  all we had was one hen...Just as we are driving out I told her I had one more spot we could check close by...We parked the truck walked about 40 yards down the path.. I hit the ole box call and he hammered...100 yards away and closing...Grace and I hit the first tree we could find scrambling for our mask and next thing I see is Mr. Tom!!!  he steps out of the woods into the field in full strut...Grace and I are shaking...I cant hardly breathe   he is closing the distance   Gobblin and strutting the whole way....I have never been more shook up in my life....a ringside seat to an amazing show...this bird absolutely did everything we could have ever hoped for....Gracie gave him a ride in the truck at 20 yards...Thank You Lord!!!  9 1/2 inch beard...inch spurs   and 2 ecstatic turkey hunters.....

Tim and Grace Congrats to you both on a great hunt and a greater life moment together. One that memories and pictures will never fade away.  Tim ole buddy, Thanks for sharing this moment here and before you posted the story. I am sure as it is Saturday, you still can't believe what a great experience you had with your daughter and her first turkey, using a call you made and being right their with her, God Blessed you both with a great father-daughter moments.   Give Grace my best personnel regards and congrats.
