She shoots GREAT with the 3-inch Hevi-13 1 1/4 oz. number 6 shotshell and the 3-inch Federal Heavyweight Flite Control 1 1/2 oz. number 6 shotshells.

I still have to measure some wads and fired and unfired hulls of the number 7 shot versions of each of the previously mentioned shotshells.

I will post up some test results in the coming weeks....I actually have to go over to Ohio this weekend to pick my Savage up (the gunsmith was using it as a reference for 3 other Savage 220 build shotguns I am having him build.  :o ;D 8)

Love to see the results when you get her all dialed in! Some years back Browning made a bolt action shotgun...in 12 ga. I bought one to hunt in slug areas only. Quickly found out that w/ the 6 in. rifled choke that came w/ it that is hot 1 in. groups at 100 yds...but the real surprise was when I put a Kicks turkey choke (.660). That thing is pure death at 40 yds.!

I've got the Mossberg bolt action .410, 20, & 12- on the lookout for the 16 to complete the set   ;D
Also have a bolt action Marlin 12.
