My buddy just got his 1st turkey gun. He actually won it.... anyway it's a Remington 1100 26" barrel, full choke (screw in), 3" mag 12 ga.
I went with him Saturday morning to check it out. We ran Winchester XX #5's thru it just to see where it's at. (didn't take pics of pattern). This thing shoots way off! Center mass is low about 3" and left about 5". This is terrible! I had to aim above & right of the head on the target just to get 10 pellets in the kill zone- at 25 yards, anything beyond forget about it

Other than handing him my old 870 that I know will kill turkeys, what should I do with his gun??? Different choke tube? different shot?
