Instead of a feather in the fence, A BIG KNOCK AT THE DOOR

My neighbor and I have a standard way of telling each other that we have scored with a feather in the fence between us.  This A.M. just after my great nephews birthday party.  There was a knock at the door and my neighbors son (dressed in camoflage said, come see what we have next door.)  I said "Let me get my shoes and a camera and I will be right there."  Young Will killed this nice gobbler, his first, at 18 steps after witnessing it come up strutting, drumming, and gobbling.  I think he will be a chip off the ole block.  His dad was one of the Jakes in Hitt Neils turkey book the Jakes (Birdlegs).  Congratulations Will.   The first feather of the year.!!!!! *up*

That's awesome. I wish I had someone to take out for the youth hunt in NY.
