Well many of you know I've been hit or miss as of lately. It's not something I have been proud of, but the new position and the weird medical issues we have been dealing with has pulled me away from the site.
I had two choices that I could think of. Shut the site down (something I do not want to do) and move on with life knowing I did the best I could or find some help. I started searching and looking for someone I know is on all day and could handle and understand what it takes to help administer a site. The good news is there are several great users on this site and I have a bunch of users I can tap to help it grow stronger!
When I first started the site, I thought I would be able to handle it all by myself. After realizing I was a fool, I asked ole No Nets (dcole) to help me out. He has done a fantastic job and we think a lot a like (scary huh).
Well the next step is needed and I've asked the Razorback/Cardinal loving, picture taking fool to join on and he accepted. I'm not sure this sun glassed person knows what he is getting himself into, but I'm happy to announce the next moderator of the site.
Shad I hope you have some hair left to pull out
I'm looking forward to continually growing the site and to have someone help out that loves the outdoors as much as all of us!

Now I see a lot of great ideas... Porterism dictionary, spill checking, slick wife definitions, and etc.
Trying to get on during the day has taken it's toll on me. My current job just doesn't allow it. Hopefully this will help the site continue to grow in a positive way!
Thanks for all the support and look forward to continually growing the site. I remember telling Ed Jenkins when I started this site I thought about 500 members was plenty. We have went past that and we continue to grow. We wouldn't be doing that if not for the great members here!
