I found this on another forum I frequent.  One heck of a cake and some serious time invested..

I would be curious to know what someone would charge to create something like that...  Wedding cakes can be very expensive and it certainly looks like there is some serious time invested in the groom's cake.

When I saw the title, I said "bet it is not as good as Adam's was"...I was wrong, That is a serious cake! Wow what a nut job to pay someone to do something like that. It must have cost a fortune!

So I showed my wife the pic of the cake and she said with the amount of modeling and hand detailing that would probably be a $400 + cake. The gun is most likely modeled with something like rice crispy treats or a combination of cake and rice crispy treats and then covered.

Very interesting, I figured it would have cost far more. Either way, very creative cake...

We just delivered a wedding cake over the weekend 320 miles to Fargo ND. With the cost of the cake, delivery, and set-up it was right around a grand for a cake big enough to feed 250-300 people

Oh my how nice that would have looked smeared across my wifes face when we got married!!!  I still enjoy watching the video of me smashing the cake in her face!!!  Of course, catching her veil on fire might have been the highlight of our wedding!!!

That is one cool looking cake!!
