Another Oak Burl

Saw this guy during deer season on my local gun club property.  The tree itself is dead so I'm hoping the land manager will let he take it.  I still have to talk to him but I went to high school with him and he's very good friends witn my brother so hopefully.  If I get it I'll post pics.  Wish me luck!!!

I've been watching one grow for about the last 30 or so years down at a campground, but the danged tree just won't die!  *aah* When It comes time to cut that tree, I've already told all the powers that be down there that I want the burl. That doesn't mean they'll remember, though.  I just have to be diligent and watchful, ...and patient! *peep*

Thanks guys I definately will post pics if I get it.  I have to let the ground absorb some of this water before I even talk to the land manager. I have a 4 x 4 with brand new tires but the access roads are muddy and steep.
