Mark it aint broke ill bring something sunday.....Lee i was torn between the delta 46-460 and the jet 12-20 vs...but the delta had rev and a 1 hp motor was $50 less and was IN STOCK  *aah* *aah* *aah* *aah* *aah*.......Mike  *up* *up* *up* *up* just no buffing for me

Whats the benifit of having reverse? I can't think of one chuck or fixture a guy could use in reverse. Everything I have has a clockwise thread so it tightens while spinning. I'd hate to see a Baracuda go flying off or even fall off onto my toes. Am I missing the point of it?

Its for Sanding.
I have barracuda's, and Nova Chucks.

 Never had a problem with them coming off.

Both of my chuck set up's, will lock down with a set Screw as well.

Sanding is the basic use of the reverse, Mostly, Bowl Turners. I never use it for Trumpets and such, but handy on bowls.
