Bob is right it is always more difficult when it is your child.  Be there for him and never miss a chance to tell him how much you love him.  Prayers sent from western NY.

Mike, sorry to hear about your son, but glad to hear it is only the flu. Oftentimes the words love ones long to hear are the ones left unsaid. Man, you gotta stop and smell the roses sometimes. My prayers are with you and your family.  *prayer*

Guys thanks for all the prayers and thoughts.  We had another scare yesterday and something "may" be going on with his muscles.  He didn't see his regular doctor on Thursday and when he got his blood results yesterday, he did not like the results at all.

He called us and we talked.  Told him Mitchell was walking a bit better now.  What he thought it might be at first, he said it couldn't be if he was better.  His CK levels were elevated and we have to get him checked out again.

I had to get some work done yesterday and later in the afternoon when I called him, I could tell the spark was back in his voice.  We stayed up way too late last night watching movies, but it was a joy to be by him and him interacting!

Now just hope his blood work comes back normal.  Seems to be more of a hydration issue than anything else right now.

Once again, thanks to everyone for all the kind words and prayers!  It helped tremendously!
