Number 1 and Number 100

I started turkey hunting in 2001.  After a less than successful season I looked at my calls and thought that I could do better than the calls I had bought at WallyWorld and Dick's Sporting Goods.  Due to my situation at the time, I couldn't make pots but thought that I could make myself a striker.  While walking around Dad and my  Uncles garden, I noticed a cherry log in his firewood pile.  I went and got an axe and chopped off a small piece of cherry to make my first striker.  That was in 2002. Last week I made my 100th striker by hand.  Never dreamed that I would ever make that many let alone have sent them all over the country to a good many of you.  Thanks to all that have encouraged me and purchased my strikers.

That's great Steve, can't remember my 100th call I think I'm around 200 now you got to get to whittlen if your ever going to catch up  *lol*

I've been working on #1 since we talked a few months ago and still havent even come close to being 1/4 of the way done with mine.....maybe it will be finished when you hit 200  ;D
