Well just how far ?

I've heard em out of shotgun range..... I think people don't know what they are listening for most of the time... i got a buddy that's hunted and
killed for 10 years and swears he has never heard it.  I was in a bottom with a buddy two years ago and had two out in front of us about 75 yards
and I could hear them drumming like crazy!  They both died!

I don't have a problem hearing it. I just have a time locating it. It sounds like it's all around me.
