Well I finally got to meet Lil Richard at the convention. I see why Morgan makes so much fun of you now
Well anyways, you all know what a nut for Osage I am. I told Richard I'd really like a hen box from him. I've heard several over the phone and to be honest, Richard is way too modest about his callers. I knew they sounded good over the phone, but I was really anxious to get them in my hand. I knew he had one built that he thought I'd like, but didn't know what it would look like. Needless to say, I was impressed big time!
Here she is... Osage/Snakewood with an awesome chalk box. Morgan busted his chops about it... I had a lot of fun with this!
I highly recommend Richards hen boxes! I helped a friend pick one up too and I'm sure he'll be as delighted with his as I am mine!
Next comes an Osage trumpet (yeah like that was expected )... I had my chance to purchase the mud cured one he posted, but this one really caught my eye! It had to go home with me!
Last is one of Richards strikers. These things are gorgeous and awesome! Picked this one up in Bloodwood. I love bloodwood too!!!!
