I wondering what you guys pay for your Turkey Tags or Licence's. Here in Indiana we pay $25 for the turkey lic. and another $6.75 for a Game Bird Stamp. This turkey licence is only good for one bearded bird in the spring season, we have to buy another fall tag rather you get one in the spring or not. The stamp will carry over until 2012 because its also used with quail and pheshant hunting licence. I was wonder how that compares to the other states.....

In Ontario its 24.50 for a turkey licence plus 12.50 for a small game licence if you want a second spring licence, its gonna cost you another 24.50 fall tags are available as well, with a one bird limit.

I'd like to see Indiana offer a second spring licence, that one bird spring is too short if you tag out opening day. I think our population could support a second bird or 2 bird licence.

Couldn't tell you.  I bought my lifetime license in West Virginia 30 years ago.  I have gotten my moneys worth.  

But there is no extra fee for turkeys in West Virginia.

Here in NY it's $26 for a Small Game License plus $10 for a Turkey Permit.  That allows you 2 turkeys in the spring and 2 in the fall.

For nonresidents it's $85 for a Small Game License plus $50 for a Turkey Permit.  That allows you the same 4 birds for both seasons.

In Arkansas the hunting license costs $25. That gives you two spring turkey tags and three deer tags. It also allows you to hunt small game.

Here in the great broke state of California we have to pay 41.50 for a hunting license and another 8.40 for an upland bird stamp. We can take 3 gobblers in the spring and one either sex in the fall.

Same for me. But I think the WV sportsman package  is about $35 or so. That gets you small game, 1 archery deer, 1 gun deer, 1 muzzleloader deer, 1 wild boar and 3 turkeys (2 spring and 1 fall). Not to bad.

That is why I am glad I have a lifetime license for Indiana. I only have to buy a fishing license or federal stamp to hunt goose or ducks. It has more than paid for it self.
