Here's a pic from last summer . These elk are part the restoration project in NC. These bulls came from New Mexico originally .Have you heard the term "cheek to cheek " ? LOL Unfortunately the big 6x7 was poached last winter . Terrible way to go . They shot two elk and left them to lay .

those are caribou are just plain majestic, here in Ky we are finally getting some nice herds of elk...
