Some crow calls shipped out this week

Here are a few crow call I shipped out this week. I'm also including few other items that come out of my shop even though they aren't calls they are from a call makers bench so to speak.
Jack

This is a 13" tall vase that I turned from a chunk of the oak burl I have been making my calls from

A nested set of bowls turn from the same burl. The largest bowl is over 15" in Dia.

A nature edge bowl turned from the same burl. It is 14" in Dia.

Last but not least is a 12 " sphere I turned from maple. This and the other bowls are turned
to around 3/16" from top to bottom. This one sold this fall at an local art gallery
for a price that would equal the price of 19 of my pot calls.

  I have always admired your bowl turnin' skills, they're really fine for sure - one day ...  ;D

Beautiful work Jack. Like I told you last night, I went out yesterday with one of your crow calls and had them landing in the trees right above me. They definitely do what they were made for doing.

Thanks for all the compliments everyone. Here is a picture of my lathe. I payed for it turning crow and turkey calls. I bought right before the price for Oneway lathes took a large jump. I can turn bowls up to 24" in Dia. on the outboard side.

My friend that is some fine work! You ae a talented turner! And that lathe is a very impressive piece! Hope to see a lot more of your work, not just calls!
