TC Encore 12

Anyone use one for turkey?  Hows it perform pattern wise.  Thinking about getting one for a smaller and lighter weight gun.

my brother has one in the 12...he loves it..patterns well with the factory choke..i am wanting one in the 20ga for myself...just gota save some$

Know a couple of people who shoot them.  Can't say they are overly particular about their patterns / chokes / ect.  But they haven't complained and seem satisfied. And they kill turkeys.

I have heard that they make a 12ga blackpowder barrel also. Anyone found one of those or info?

I am putting a Rhino on mine.  I gave them my information (12 GA. Encore Turkey Barrel, the shell (Hevi 13 3" #7), and what I was looking for at 35 yards.  Don't know if they are gonna ship the .660 or the .670, but I can return one for the other if I am not satisfied with the first.  As for ease of carry, handling, etc., I have never held a better turkey gun.  I like the gun but just have to find the right recipe.

Thats what I thought when I held one.  I just wish I could get it in the pro hunter stock, not in black or real tree but with mossy oak camo.  I hate real tree, hate it *cry*

I almost bought a 20 gauge barrel for my pro hunter.  The people I know with them say they are a patterning fool.  I ended up with a 870 JR that weighed just as much as the encore, so I went with it.

I love the pro hunter.  That is a unique and cool system.  My rifles shoot like a much less caliber gun!

I got the T/C pro hunter  12 muzzleloader   Love It!!   It  Patterns well  It took me I while to work up load for it .  I use 75 Grains triple seven powder, Felt wad,shot cup, 1 7/8 oz of #5's another felt wad. Topped gun with after market XS Ghost ring sights.  Real nice to carrey all day , but it does belt ya pretty good. But thats the last thing i'm worrrying about when i'm looking down barrel.

 Ive killed turkeys with an Encore 12 for several years, it patterns well with the factory choke. Maybe not the long range killer some of you are toting but I've killed out to 46 steps with it with plain ole Winchester Supreme #5's.
