Dave,thanks my friend!!I have used this type of cinch for all of the chalk boxes on every henbox I make.Kinda to set them apart from the rest

Smokey, as I said on Old Gobbler in regards to your other post there, I have never had an issue with you, nor has my work been influenced by yours. I suggest if you have an issue with me, pm me or call me rather than snipe at me on a public forum. You are not the inventor of a cinch on a lanyard, plain and simple. I can cite examples of this having been done, Charlie Trotter for one comes to mind. This type of bickering and triviality does little to add to the enjoyment of those perusing this forum.

Nice looking hen box. I really like that chalk box too with the lanyard that cinches the lid down for a quiet walk to the roost.
