walnut-butternut-sumac laminated longbox
« on: January 21, 2011, 08:16:31 PM »
Here is another style of call I haven't worked with in a while. The base is a glued up laminations of walnut and Staghorn Sumac in alternating orientations. Sides are butternut. Lid is walnut with more staghorn sumac inlay. This call has the rasp and range to be a real locator. I actually made this call earlier and it has been blooded.  The Rios just rolled in and died! 8)  Rumor has it that this one is headed to Springfield, MO! ;) Watch that magic mailbox!
