Well gotta give ole hunter22 the big thank you on this one.  He told me Jack had a pair of ceramics for sale and he bought one.. I contacted Jack and the rest is history :)

Here's my first caller from Jack but definitely won't be my last!

Osage Ceramic and what a beautiful piece of Osage!!!!

I love the ceramic surface too!!!!

Jeff IMO it's between slate and glass.  That's what my ears are hearing.  I love it.  Stumpy sure did come up with a great idea!!!

I hope it helps you fool many an old tom for years to come. The ceramic is a great surface. I would agree with how it sounds, but one other thing about ceramic is that one can get a lot of volume if ever needed from it.
