Horrible news... Congresswoman shot and killed

I cannot believe what I was just reading.  Congresswoman Giffords of Arizona has been shot and killed at a public event.  This is horrible news.  Shooter has been captured.

Thoughts and prayers go out to her family.

It's amazing what kind of psychos we have out there!

There were at least 12 injured, she was shot at point blank range, along with three of her staffers.  Standing outside a grocery store meeting / greeting the people from her district.

Terrible thing to happen.  Her husband is a NASA shuttle astronaut.  Do not know if they had children or not.

She's still alive and that is amazing.  This family needs a lot of prayers!!!  I see a big uphill battle for them.

This is a reflection of what our society is becoming. All that senseless violence and killing being shoved down our throats.   It is everywhere!! Violence on TV and video games is at an all time high. What happen to old time values and entertainment! Just saw on the news,  they think this shooting was politically motivated. This representative was on Sarah Palin's list of 20 dems. that voted for health care reform. She used crosshairs on a map to show what districts these representative were from. Our fighting and bipartisan  government has got to stop. Some of these things politicians say about each other, might just be the thing that sets these lunatics off.  God help our country!!    Roc
