We'll several of you have asked why we haven't had a Spring Turkey Contest. I'm not one that likes being a follower, so I decided to pick the brains of three of the mighty fine members here and come up with a Contest that is fair, a lot of fun, and will provide a whole lot of trash talking (we have to rib each other to make this fun
)
So here's the scoop of the first ever Yellow Roost competition!
Judges of the competition will be the following three bird hammering members!

We all recognize these members and they are extremely trustworthy and will run a very fair contest.
Rules are as follows
-minimum of 10 posts
-1 bird per member as entry
-scoring will be beard length(s) x 2 plus length of each spur x 10 will equal your total score for the bird
-pics of bird showing beard length and both spur length plus date bird was killed must be submitted
-teams will be randomly picked and size will be determined by number of members entered
-Judges are and will be in the contest
-Name the states you plan on hunting in
-Not every members birds will be counted in this competition (We'll explain later going to keep it fun and fair
)
-Must sign up by February 11th (we are working on the closing date to be fair with everyones season)
Signup in this thread and let's have some fun!!! We like to be different here and I think we came up with a contest that will dare to be different!!! Prize will be bragging rights for a year and either hats or shirts for the winning team compliments of OsageRoost... I'm thinking pink/yellow
Now I'm just glad I'll be hunting with ole Darleen and No Nets... I have an opportunity to hurt their chances
Unfortunately, my team might suffer as I've had a MS Hex put on me... I hope I can break that Hex!
