NWTF

I have been a member of the NWTF for years now. I was contemplating letting my membership go because of their magazine and a few other things. I realize the NWTF started for a good cause and still does a lot for conservation today. My gripe is, for a non profit organization, they sure love money. I checked on line about their registration for the GN's. If a man and his wife, that are not members, it's $120.00. If a member and his wife attend all three days, it's $60.00 for her. I called to find out what the rate was at the door, it's $20.00/day. It's beginning to cost more and more to get into somewhere to spend money. Seems like I remember $15.00 for a three day pass. My how times have changed.

Yep everything is going up.  I like to think the money goes to good cause, but they seem to charge a lot for booth space and for admission.  I love it, but you would think it would be a bit easier on the wallet for us to go in.

Then again, I did just spend $25 to go watch a movie with my son (tickets, popcorn and drinks)...

Sad times for sure.  NWTF is still one of a handful of organizations I like to support.

They went up on booth spaces, or I would have had one. But I am still a member and guess I will for a while

Me too. Unless they start putting scratch and sniff perfume ads in the magazine.

Make sure they put them on the live auction instead of the silent. They lost a fine callmaker's donation because of that.
