Crappie in the Dead of Winter

Bruce (Augiedog55) and a couple of his buddies have been wearing out the crappie this winter. I guess that's what you do whenever you retire. He asked me to post these pictures for him. Those look like some fine eating to me!! I think they caught three limits today.

Thanks Rickey for posting the pictures for me. We have been doing this about 3 times a week for the last 6 wks. Thats about the time I retired RkLu  Is pretty cold outside but the fishing is Hot *dance* *dance* If you look behind me at the water its frozen except for the boat trail thru the ice  that the duck hunters and crappie fisherman keep open *bannana*s. The ice is about 1/2 inches on the main lake .  Once we get to our cove we use the boats to open up the creek channel.
 Truman lake is awesome this time of the yr.  *up*
 That cooler has 45 crappies. 3 limits of 15

Bruce I still think you are insane.. guys it has been EXTREMELY cold up here.  I talked to Bruce the other day and he was going crazy going crappie fishing.

I see why you do it now man!!!
