Ha ha there Bob---thats right-another day laying on my back.
We did see some struttung birds that day for the record. Ever seen any Ruddy ducks
They swim around parading for the females with their tail just like an ole gobbler does---its a sight to see. They actually strut !!! They are really small and do not have their colors this time of year so we never turned on them---we just enjoyed watching them strut their stuff so to soeak.
Its a real neat old school way of hunting.
Here is a pic to see how we do this----we are going in on a flock of canvasbacks here----we are in the middle of coots as we approach the cans.
