East of the Slash Special
« on: November 28, 2010, 07:56:38 PM »
Here is a classic East of the Slash Special that I just finished for my son Kirk.  He gave me the walnut beam that the box came from a couple of Christmas's ago.  Walked in Christmas AM and there was a 12 ft. walnut beam under the tree.  The mahogany lid is from a good friend of mine's front door.  When you make one for your son, you have a lot of fun just making the call.  Sometimes just going back a tried and true combination will give you that classic killer combination.  This one has it.

Rickey, I turned 4 boxes in this group and yours is one.  The box is finished and just need to turn the paddle.  It will be a Mahogany one and look very similiar to this call.  Send you a picture when it is done.
