Great Game!

I had a bad feeling going into this one, the Hogs had a good game.  We gave you two long TD's and had two chances of our own in the red zone and came away with only FG's.  LSU's offense is too one dimensional and it finally came back and bit us.  Most of the LSU faithful are actually okay with the loss, had we won we'd be playing in a BCS bowl against an opponent that would likely destroy us on National TV.  We dont have the offensive firepower to hang with the top 5 programs.  My opinion is the SEC is down all the way around, and I've got a feeling the bowl season wont be kind to the SEC this year...

I have to respectfully disagree that the SEC is down. The West was absolutely loaded this year! Only 1 team was not ranked in the top 25 and we had 4 in the top 15. That my friend is great football. Arkansas is a program on the rise. Just because Florida & Georgia were lackluster this year we did have 2 teams step up and take their place- Arkansas & Mississippi State (another team on the rise). Look for both teams to do great things in the next few years!

We'll see in the Bowl season...

Shad,

I agree with you. I think the West side of the SEC is loaded. For Alabama to lose 3 conference games tells me how tough the coference is this year. I think there are 4 legitimate top 10 teams on the West side.

..and you could add a couple more to the top 25 list. The SEC is one DEEP conference!

We raised him down in southern Arkansas but Houston Dale wanted Mitch Mustain for his quarterback and Mallett left. His heart stayed in Arkansas.

He's a awesomly gifted quarterback that's for sure! After seeing what Casey Dick did in a Petrino offense, I'm not sure the QB is the guy to thank. There are 3 guys right behind him now that are gonna put up HUGE numbers in this offense and that's not including the commits for the 2011 & 2012 classes. Did anyone happen to catch what Tyler Wilson did in the Auburn game coming off the bench cold & unprepared?!?!?!

I know that Mallett was a native of Arkansas but he was Michigan`s pro style QB of the future until they got a new coach who wanted to run that worthless spread offense with no D! ROTFLMBO ROTFLMBO. He transferred right after that jerk was hired! He was`nt homesick, he was smart! RkLu
