A while back I made some posts on Eustice Winn's grandfathers call that was given to him on his 16th birthday and the reproduction of it that I made for him. -- I was asked to make another for Hal his dad. So here are all three.
The first two pictures are the same original Stribling call. Dr. E. H. Winn Jr. bought this call from Mr. Stribling in the 50's. E.H. Winn IV is Dr. Winn's grandson Eustis that received the call on his 16th birthday.

This is the call that I made a while back after Eustis killed the 12 inch bearded bird and 1 1/2 inch spurred bird with the original. The walnut in it came from the Burris family Antebellum home restoration of the Grand staircase and the Persimmon from Burke Landing Hunting club where Dr. Winn also used to hunt.

This is the call that I just finished for Dr. Winn's son and Eustice's dad Hal. The paddle on it is Burke Landing Persimmon.

All of these calls have the original Stribling paddle design which gives them a real sharp biting yelp that is loud and so valuable in reaching out in the bottomlands between the levees where we hunt..
