Took a couple days off work to go hunt with my Dad. He is 77 now and strong as an ox but every hunt now is a memory I will keep forever. We were into turks on and off for 2 days. But they were so split up due to abundant mast it was hard to find a big flock. Plus it was dry as a popcorn **** and ya just couldn't get around on em or really move very much at all. Lose 'em...find em again. Or a different bunch. Never could get into a good position for a bust. We did manage to get into a fair position on a small gobbler flock and I was able to sway a couple of them our way and Dad took a nice bird. Mine was just a whisker out of range for the ole smokeplole.

But it was great weather, deer running everywhere and plenty of turks to chase. All in all, couple of real good days.

Sorry, forgot the camera!
