Striker Question
« on: November 02, 2010, 04:39:16 PM »
I was given a few antlers by a buddy that farms deer (ugly racks!!). I want to make some striker tops out of them. Should I hollow them out to give a different sound or leave them solid?

I tried them both and prefer to hollow them out. Antler is real heavy and kills the sound, JMO

Only have one, it is hollow and is OK!

Craig, no worries  ;)  I'm gonna give it a shot and see what I can come up with. I figured that I got the free horns, I might as well do something with them

Shad being that I'm in an onry mood... you could hollow part and leave the other half solid :)  *lol* *lol* *lol*

That's a 3rd option  RkLu
