a Marlin Watkins....MASTERPIECE
« on: October 19, 2010, 03:56:36 PM »
Here is one I thought I was going to have to fight Bullock over. We were up at Marlin's, and he made the mistake of letting us in his storage cabnet.....you should have seen how long these ole rednecks played calls. Looked like two women in a half price sale at the mall ROTFLMBO!!!
We were both rambeling throught the calls when we both played this one....and we both wanted it. What a delimma!!!! And ole Watkins kinda had an eye on keeping it too----what a perdiciment. !!!!!
Bullock decided he really had no buisness spending the money ---after his theift of his vehicle----bad luck for him.....but great luck for me. Marlin slept on it that night and surprised me the next morning before we went to hunt---he decided to let it go south with us !!! Horray !!! Thanks Marlin---its one of those calls ya pick up and run....and ....you just know you have to have it.
Bullock---when ya think about missing getting this one---holler at me----I am always willing to send ya a picture of it !!! *lol* *lol* ROTFLMBO ROTFLMBO *lol*
Marlin---I appreciate you letting me get it !!!! This is one of those calls guys---its a real great sounding one no matter how you run it---it flat out has the sound.

Well Jeff, You went and opened Tim's wound. We both know that he liked that call bad and you walked with it.  Make it a ring tone on your cell phone and send it to Tim.  Hmmmm...Zumer didn't get a chance at it either.  What a gem on your part.  However, Marlin walks away with the prize. He now knows Cutter is a top notch turkey dog and all his work paid off thanks to you rednecks going first.  That sounds like a win-win to me.
