Here is one of 7 winding up for the Osage Roost Team. This is the first in a series of 3 East of the Slash Cuttin calls. All have the classic snakebelly cherry paddle and a walnut box. Back during the searing heat wave when it was 120 degrees. I was at a friends lumber yard in North Ms., took off my tie, and went through his whole stack of Cherry. 35 --12 foot boards 11inches wide. When I got down near the bottom of the stack I found this one board -- Paydirt. I think he felt sorry for me after he saw how hot and ringing wet I was. No charge for the board. Turned out nice and it was what I was looking for. The walnut in this call is the last piece of Mr. Wineman's Whiskey Island walnut that I had. Whiskey Island is a section of their land written about in
East of the Slash. I think you will be happy with this one Bruce. It will definately charm those longbeards. I have 4 with the snakebelly paddle on a FAS Mahogany box in the Gator Gobbling Series. I'll post a picture of them as well when I send them out.
