« on: October 10, 2010, 11:49:38 AM »
Man its hot here in central Illinois 89-90 degrees no deer movement yesterday, not sure if I will even go today. Lots of deer seen last weekened .. hot weather has really killed it.. How many of you guys hunt in this hot weather, I know in the south you probably are used to it.. I dont even have clothes for these temps.. I only get to hunt the weekends so I may this evening... lets here about your hunting in hot weather?

I saw a lot of deer moving early this morning but they bedded down before 8am. Same thing yesterday. I didn't see much yesterday afternoon until the sun was going down.

It gets crazy here in the Low Country...southeast Georgia. I remember bow hunting last year in a green bathing suit, snake boots and my harness *wha* Temps are getting better here, but are still in the high 80's during the middle of the day. Mudpuppi(Craig) got him one today in the heat down here. Late evening hunts is the name of the game here; at least for me.~~~~Good Luck

SOP in the South! Cotton Camo is the only way!
